The brain-child of creator Debbie Boud.
The idea for a calendar was born of random comments that Debbie had read and seen about hot Butch women. This was at the time when people were all up in arms about the women on the show "The L-Word" and how hot they were. Debbie thought that it was a shame because most of those women were not even gay; it was just a character each actress played. Right then and there, she decided to take on the challenge of presenting real Butch lesbians in a hot and sexy way. The reaction and support toward the project was great, so Debbie decided to run a contest on myspace and let the public pick their hottest Butch. The winner of the first annual Hottest Butch contest was Christine, Miss November 2010. And who won the second annual Hottest Butch contest? Well, that's still a surprise...
